CNC machining fundamentals

This hands-on course provides foundational knowledge and skills in computer numerical control (CNC) machining, focusing on safety, tool usage, measurement techniques, and CNC programming. Designed for beginners, it covers the fundamentals required for operating CNC machinery in a workshop environment.

Skills you'll gain:

• Hazard identification and safety procedures
• Hand tool selection and usage
• CNC programming (G-Code and M-Code)
• Machine setup and operation
• Basic troubleshooting and part inspection.

Pre-requisites:
Students should have some basic experience in a workshop environment.

After successfully completing this course, you will receive a Statement of Attendance.
