Learn the fundamentals of business administration

This course is offered as Medical or General Business Streams.

Combine work-based training as a workplace trainee in a business and learn the theoretical elements with formal training from Chisholm.

Students must be employed within a business and a training contract between the employer and the trainee is required prior to enrolment. Traineeships are a great way to be paid for work, learn and earn a qualification.

This qualification provides you with the skills required to effectively manage the office administration aspects of a business. You will develop foundation skills in business operations, marketing and administration, while also gaining technology skills. When you complete the Certificate IV in Business, you’ll have the confidence and ability to direct a variety of workplace administration functions. You’ll learn practical skills in areas such as advanced word processing, spreadsheets and databases along with organisation of travel, meetings and safe workplace practices.

Chisholm offer this option throughout Melbourne and some regional areas within Victoria. Please contact the department to find out more michelle.duddy@chisholm.edu.au
Please note: The information on the page is for trainees only. We do offer this course for non-trainees. View the non-trainee version of this course.

Once complete, this qualification will provide a guaranteed pathway into Chisholm’s Diploma of Business Administration. You’ll be able to gain credit for your studies if you choose to undertake a Bachelor of Business in the future.
