As Events and Engagement Team Lead, Melanie is dedicated to excellent customer experiences. She knows how small details have a big impact, going above and beyond to ensure every interaction is positive – from the first campus tour to the final graduation walk.

Melanie has made this role her own, and her impact is undeniable. She recently reimagined Chisholm’s Info Days into a successful expo format, drawing over 1,700 registrations and welcoming 800 prospective students to campus.

Under her leadership, the Student Recruitment team has grown the pipeline of potential students by building strong relationships with secondary schools in our region.

From delivering the inaugural Apprentice Graduation and Awards Celebration, to organising the End of Year Celebration for 900 staff, her meticulous planning – and 90% corporate event satisfaction rate – speak for themselves.

To her team, Melanie is more than a manager; she is a mentor who leads by example. Through her leadership, her team has increased transparency, better cross-team collaboration, and clear accountability for responsibilities. She fosters a culture where everybody helps each other on event days.

Melanie is currently studying the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. She continues to evolve as a leader and is an inspiring 2026 Service Excellence Employee of the Year.
