Certificate II in Engineering Studies
Charlie is studying a Certificate II in Engineering Studies to achieve an apprenticeship in boilermaking and welding. He wants to become a first-class welder.
Charlie is an outstanding student. He has shown growth, resilience and dedication during his studies.
Charlie secured a Structured Workplace Learning placement with an engineering company. When he finished the program, the company employed him at their fabrication workshop. He still works there a year later.
He earned second place in the 2024 VETiS WorldSkills VR Welding Competition and welded a sculpture of a deer head for the Kemppi Weld Art Competition.

Elijah Keath
Certificate II in Building and Construction Pre-apprenticeship — Carpentry
Elijah’s love of creating and building led him to study a Certificate II in Building and Construction Pre-apprenticeship – Carpentry.
Elijah impressed his teachers with his technical skills and initiative when bringing in tools he had built or fixed. He was always ready to help other students.
In 2024, Elijah earned second place at the state and regional WorldSkills Australia Competitions for VETiS Carpentry.

Connor Kiernan
Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology
After completing his Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology Connor is looking for work as a furniture maker.
The design on his woodwork project impressed the teachers and was well above the industry standard.
Connor has been the perfect role model for his peers and has a natural talent for furniture making. He has shown great leadership in the classroom by mentoring classmates and helping them with difficult tasks.
While pursuing his career as a furniture maker, Connor is in training to become a manager at a local fast-food store where he has been working for three years.

Charlie Marsh
Certificate II in Computer Assembly and Repair
Charlie finds technology fascinating and enjoys figuring out how it all works. He believes ‘passion can take you anywhere as long as it’s somewhere you want to be.’ It is his passion that led to Charlie’s nomination.
Charlie loved the environment at Chisholm. His positive attitude helped other students struggling to complete assessments.
He has big goals for his future and is ready to take the next step. Since finishing his Certificate II in Computer Assembly and Repair, he hopes to study a Bachelor of Computer Science.
Charlie’s dream is to own his own cyber security company.

Neda Mozafari
Certificate III Health Services Assistance
Neda has completed her Certificate III Health Services Assistance and looks forward to studying a Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Neda’s dream is to become a dental nurse and one day go to university. Chisholm has been a pathway to Neda’s success, and she encourages her community to do the same.
She is graduating from her secondary school VCE Vocational Major program with a Certificate III qualification.
English is Neda’s second language, and she improved her communications skills during her study at Chisholm. This was especially impressive when learning medical terminology.
Neda wants to make a positive impact on people’s lives and support her family.
