
Mia Calleja
Certificate III in Dental Assisting - Traineeship
At 15, Mia took a work experience role at her local dentist. When she was in Year 11, she knew she wanted to continue this career path and become a dental assistant. Her school tried to talk her out of it, but Mia’s family supported her decision.
A month after turning 16, Mia began a traineeship with the Certificate III in Dental Assisting – Traineeship. She continued to work full time as a trainee dental assistant for a year.
Mia is the youngest trainee to enrol in this course at Chisholm and one of the most successful. She always completed her work well before the deadline and to a high standard.
Mia is now a qualified dental assistant.

Camille Gammeri
Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care
Camille always knew she wanted to work with children. Before starting her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, she was sure of her path.
She coached children in sport and felt maternal towards her little sister, who was born when Camille was 11 years old.
Camille enjoys supporting children with their behavioural needs and personal development. In the early learning centre where she works, she creates a warm and safe space for children. She was recently nominated for a Workplace Hero award.
Camille works full time and takes care of her two children while studying. Despite this juggle, she is one of Chisholm’s highest-performing trainees.

Jade Gunn
Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care
Jade has always wanted a career and a sense of purpose, which she found while studying the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care traineeship.
After continuing her studies in the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Jade now plans to complete a double degree with a focus on spectrum-based behaviours.
Jade is passionate about early childhood education and advocating for children’s rights. She has helped many younger trainees by mentoring them as they enter the workplace.
She enjoys connecting with children in diverse and low socio-economic communities, and offering support to parents.
Jade will be a wonderful asset to the early childhood education and care sector.

Danelle Hendy
Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care
Danelle saw the excellent work of the educators at her son’s kindergarten and felt inspired to start a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. She now works at that same kindergarten in rural Victoria.
A mother of seven, Danelle was recently widowed and wanted to find a job to support her family. Danelle’s employer admires how she balances her work, study and young family. She is a dedicated and passionate employee.
Danelle is an inspiration to her community, colleagues, family and children.

Amber Woolley
Certificate III Sport, Aquatics and Recreation -Traineeship
Amber works as a swim coach at her local swimming centre but dreams of becoming a manager of a swimming centre one day. Her traineeship, which she is doing with her employer, will set her on the path to achieve her goal.
Overcoming obstacles related to her dyslexia, Amber has shown commitment and a strong work ethic while studying the Certificate III In Sport, Aquatics and Recreation — Traineeship. She shows that with determination and support, anything is possible.
Amber brings positivity to every swim class she teaches. She has a strong connection with young children and always receives positive feedback from students and parents.
